The Peel Business Mastery Event was created to address some of the common challenges business owners face and help them to adapt and move forward more quickly. By connecting with others to share ideas, experience and opportunities and to access available resources, we can support our regional businesses in becoming more resilient and prosperous.
Our local businesses create jobs, diversify our industries and the local economy, and build economic resilience in the region. They play a crucial role in making our communities stronger and attracting investment to the region, so it was wonderful to see so many local businesses attend the event and indicates the appetite for this kind of business support in the region.
“There were many comments on the day from attendees saying the workshops were really relevant, helpful and applicable and that the one-to-one advisory sessions were terrific for getting tailored advice specific to individual businesses and situations. Many of the attendees said they had a lot of work ahead of them applying all they’d learnt and were very happy they’d invested the time to come.
“We were thrilled with the high quality of the presenters and the level of experience they brought to the sessions as well as the numerous comments about the inspiration of Mayor Rhys Williams’ address and George Walley’s personal story. The need to read the market and pivot accordingly applies to all markets, all industries and all sized businesses.”
