The Peel Development Commission hosted the Peel Regional Investment Blueprint workshop in Mandurah on Monday, 22nd May 2023.
The event brought together a diverse and influential group of regional stakeholders, including representatives from Commonwealth, State, and Local governments, NGOs, the community service sector, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as well as Aboriginal representatives.
The workshop began by acknowledging the substantial achievements of the past five years, many of which were brought to fruition through strong collaboration between agencies.
Attention then turned to the future. Using the Blueprint themes as a guide, attendees engaged in insightful discussions and proactive planning, all aimed at establishing regional priorities for the next five years and beyond.
The engaging and productive discussions throughout the workshop highlighted how committed our stakeholders are to helping the Peel region continue to grow and prosper.
Peel Development Commission CEO Andrew Ward expressed his appreciation for the shared vision and joint efforts that characterised the workshop. “I would like to acknowledge the collaborative approach of our regional leaders and stakeholders in their commitment to working together to achieve positive outcomes for the Peel region,” he said. “I thank our partners and look forward to our continued work together.”
