The Peel Development Commission is very pleased to welcome Lisa Taylor on board this week as our Commercial Officer.

Lisa has 15 years’ experience across private and public sectors in leading teams to deliver outcomes in alignment with strategic direction. Her primary strengths and knowledge are in stakeholder management, business development, cross-sector partnering, project management, corporate communications, community and stakeholder relations, board governance, vision and goal setting. She is forward-thinking, highly motivated and thrives on meeting objectives and delivering on targets by leveraging internal and external networks to solve problems and create opportunities for the business and broader team.

She previously played a key role in the delivery of the $1.2 billion Pilbara Cities State Government vision to transform two mining towns into modern, vibrant cities of the north with a Rio Tinto partnership with local government.

After spending almost 8 years living and working in the Pilbara, Lisa returned to Perth whereby she was successful in the appointment as Principal Business
Development with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (formerly Department of Regional Development).

In her current role as Commercial Officer with the PDC, she is responsible for providing specialist advice concerning investment and development opportunities, strategies and projects that have maximum impact in enhancing the economic development of the Peel Region. Her role provides strong expertise in investment attraction/mobilisation, project commercialisation and management, along with stakeholder engagement.

Lisa is warmly welcomed to the PDC team.
